Before you begin

This diagnostic reads the conditions your organization depends on to execute its strategy and sustain change. Thirty statements, about ten minutes.

• Rate the organization, not yourself or your team. Answer for the organization as a whole, as you experience it from where you sit.
• Describe what is, not what should be. Rate what actually happens today — not what is intended, documented, or hoped for. A low rating is useful information, not a criticism.
• Ask what would make it stop being true. Does it rest on a few individuals? On where you sit? On constant attention? Or does it hold on its own? That question — not a judgment of degree — is how to place each rating.
• Go with your first read. Your direct experience is the data. Don't research it, and don't overthink any single statement.

All thirty statements must be answered before you can submit, and you can change any answer up to that point. Please complete it in one sitting — progress is not saved. Responses are pooled and reported for the group as a whole; nothing is attributed to you.
